Two years of composing and recording the material, including the band's visit to the Chernobyl exclusion zone in March 2006 fathered this ambient/post-industrial postcard from the world after atomic annihilation.

A dehumanizing, depressing, and moving snapshot from the post-human world. As we can read in the album's liner notes, the journey to Chernobyl is like filling up pages torn out of one's memory.

Originally released by Ars Benevola Mater in April 2007, we are proud to present this material on vinyl for the first time - 19 years after its original release and on the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster. Limited to 200 pcs in total - 100 on black vinyl and 100 on black/white marble variant. Karina Kalińska packed everything into a new layout, and Werner Dafeldecker remastered the album from the original multitrack sessions.

Job Karma was established in Wroclaw, Poland in 1997 by Maciek Frett, Aureliusz Pisarzewski and Arkadiusz Bagiński, who is responsible for the live visuals. The group hails from the post-industrial scene but with every new album the musicians cast their net wider into the extended field of dark electronica - from ambient to techno, dark wave and EBM.

In their well-known live performances they depict the relationship between humans and machines, and between humans and sacrum as well as slow decay of value systems due to advancing commercialization of individual and societal daily existence.

Since 2001 Frett and Bagiński, as Industrial Art, have been organising the WROCŁAW INDUSTRIAL FESTIVAL, showcasing contemporary industrial music and culture and dark electronica.
