Thanks to that album we even started some musical collaborations leading to different musical directions. \"Katahdin\" was created on a strange basis of being very focused. The recordings of \"II\" were quite different and felt more natural, liberating - he adds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"II\" is divided into two cd's - \"white\" and \"black\" covered with artwork by Kuba Sokólski (Merkabah). - Black and white are the most radical opposites. Between them there is everything else. And I guess \"everything else\" is what we find most interesting - explains Ziołek.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInnercity Ensemble's debut was recorded on a course of three days in Mózg club in Bydgoszcz. This time they decided to hold the recording session in a beautiful Palace in Ostromecko. Of course, there are also some soundscapes and tracks deprived of rhythm but thanks to this Innercity Ensemble still manages to stay interesting\", recalls Ziołek.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeeping in mind that the band consists of musicians from various projects, one can ponder if Innercity Ensemble is a regular band or side-project. \"In the beginning Innercity Ensemble was more of a collective but now we are far from this loose approach. We spent a lot of time together, played numerous concerts, we even started rehearsing which is a breakthrough, if you ask me\", says Jachna. \"We normally meet before concerts and recording sessions and we still enjoy spending our time together. That's the most important aspect of Innercity Ensemble. What I enjoy most in music are nice songs,\" Jakub says.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat makes Innercity Ensemble stand out is also the attitude that ignores members' musical backgrounds, their technical skills and their instruments of choice.
